Your demo data

Guest Desk is an AI engineering portfolio project by Ariel Magalso. The demo hotel, policies and labelled sample guests are fictional. Please use test information and avoid sharing passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

What is stored

The application stores a temporary demo account and property, conversation messages, service requests, knowledge changes and operational records. Session cookies and browser storage let the guest and admin views reconnect to your demo. Messages are stored on the server, not solely in your browser. An IP-derived hash is used for rate limiting; a hash is not a guarantee of anonymity.

Three-hour access and cleanup

Your private demo expires three hours after creation. Refreshing does not restart the timer. Expired sessions lose access. The database cleanup schedule is configured to remove expired conversations, requests, audit entries and jobs every minute; the application worker attempts full sandbox cleanup, including its temporary account and knowledge, at ten-minute intervals. Deletion depends on those services running and may happen after access expires. This does not promise immediate deletion from provider backups or infrastructure logs.

Services that process information

Vercel hosts the application. Supabase stores application data and manages authentication. Guest questions, relevant conversation context and approved knowledge may be sent to Anthropic for answers and verification. OpenAI processes text for embeddings when configured. Resend delivers account and service emails outside the demo; invitations, uploads and outgoing email are disabled in the demo. Hosting and service providers may keep operational logs under their own policies.

Private to your browser session

Each demo has its own access-controlled workspace. Other demo visitors should not see it. Anyone using your signed-in browser can access it during the session; the application operator and service providers may process its data to run and troubleshoot the system. Clearing browser data can remove your access before the server cleanup runs.
